San Francisco Exploratorium’s Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Fun Time Interactive Science Museum
The Exploratorium isn’t just for tourists you know.
Located in Pier 15, along the San Francisco waterfront, it’s the perfect destination combined with a stroll along the Embarcadero and a snack at the nearby Ferry Building.
The Exploratorium isn’t your ordinary stand and stare museum. Most exhibits are interactive, suitable for bored children and photo-ops. Every Sunday there are hands-on activities in the Tinkering Studio, where they make learning science actually fun. There’s even a DIY twist on the classic Mouse Trap game.
Hip Tip: There are often racy exhibits during the adults only Thursday 6p – 10p hours.
