Kathryn Abajian is thrilled to announce a new Villa location for 2015 in Varenna, a charming town on Lake Como in the Lombardy region, just north of Milan.

The Villa Monastero, a former nunnery and noble home featuring stunning botanical gardens and an art-filled Villa, will be the relaxing setting for lodging and instruction.

Enjoy a private room with a calming view of Lake Como, morning instruction in a group of supportive writers, and afternoons exploring a variety of cultural excursions into the countryside with plenty of solitude for writing and contemplation lakeside.

Enrollment includes accommodations, instruction, excursions, ground transportation, and two meals a day–breakfast and either lunch or dinner. As always there is a plenitude of great regional food and local wines to accompany new friendships and fresh insights.
