Culture: Nepal: Hot Tea and Apple Pie
Ram climbed the mountain with a pot of tea to surprise us when we descended from the glacier, exhausted and dehydrated. I’ll always carry his sheepish, proud smile with me, along with the memory of that delicious tea, the taste of nectar.
This and many other remembrances of Nepal will stay with me. Mountains. Mists. But most of all, people.
