Convergence Station: Meow Wolf Denver’s Otherworldly Experience
Despite living in Southwest Colorado for five years, I never visited Meow Wolf’s locations in Santa Fe nor Denver. So when I had the opportunity to finally make the trip while visiting friends in the Denver metro area, I was thrilled to immerse myself in the much talked about interactive experience. With plenty of time slots to choose from, Meow Wolf Denver is a great after work or weekend activity.

Launchpad
From the moment you enter the elevator that takes you to the starting point you are fully immersed in a whole new world. The attention to detail, creativity in design and materials, and variety between areas is impressive and I found myself returning to areas to see what stuck out on another go around.
Multi-Worlds
The spaces are divided by worlds, all of which you enter via the main walkway, a high-tech street reminiscent of Blade Runner’s world. Each world contains interactive features, hidden secrets, and a completely unique look and feel. Everything from a pizza themed stairwell and landing to a massive cathedral with an electric organ (if you play the right notes the whole room reacts) can be explored solo or as a group.

QPass upgrade
In addition to the unique look and feel of each world, the music and soundscape for each sets the tone, some foreboding, some high energy and exciting, some relaxing and peaceful. If you are looking to expand upon the experience you can look into the QPass, which unlocks even more interactivity and can activate secret portions of the exhibition.

Country calls
Another unique feature is the phone system. Landlines are accessible throughout all the worlds, and you can call other areas to see what other visitors might answer the phone, adding some fun mystery. As whole, it took us roughly 2 hours to explore Convergence Station in its entirety, while returning to some of our favorite spots.
If you are looking for something truly unique, an escape from reality into a different time and space, then Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station is a great answer. You can learn more on their website here.
