CREATE MEMORIES TO LAST A LIFETIME.

Begin in the heart of Naples, visiting the charming neighborhoods where you will stroll through narrow cobbled streets delighting in the renowned. The Cribs traditionally mark the Christmas festivities and they are one of the rare hidden treasures started many centuries ago and can only be seen at Christmas time as an artistic representation of the nativity. Exclusive to Naples are masterpieces like the Veiled Christ, a marble sculpture by Guiseppe Sammartino and the Capodimonte’s Museum.

Included is an enticing day excursion to the beautiful island of Capri.

Christmas 2013 will mark a new era with Pope Francis celebrating his first Christmas Mass in St. Peter’s followed by the Urbi et Orbi blessing on Christmas morning. We will join in this celebration with a special Christmas Eve vigil in St. Peter’s, while awaiting midnight to arrive. This is truly a magical experience for believers, and non-believers alike to be a part of a rare moment of great inner peace and spirituality.

In the days following, we will visit several landmarks including the Vatican, the Pantheon, and the Catacombs in the capital city Rome accompanied by a knowledgeable lecturer who will teach us about the beauty of these places. Interspersed with the visits will be special social occasions, marked by visits to traditional markets, a cooking class and wine tasting.
