Blane Bachelor, author of On Being a Bachelor: Thoughts on Dating, Mating and Relating (Virgil Press, Inc.), is a sassy San Francisco-based, internationally published journalist and she is throwing a book signing party – and you’re invited.

The book, Blane’s first, is a collection of her best and funniest “On Being a Bachelor” columns from a weekly newspaper in Atlanta, where she lived before moving to San Francisco, about the ups and downs of being single up – or not. A former sportswriter, Blane is also a frequent contributor to many media outlets, including Fodors.com, Women’s Health, Marie Claire, and Foxnews.com Travel, and she’s covered topics ranging from a chat about premarital sex with Dr. Ruth to running a 5K … naked.

Join Blane for her first West Coast signing at Jurlique Spa, on Fri., Feb. 8, from 6-8 p.m. There will be complimentary wine tastings and nibbles, and, of course, plenty of dishing over dating horror stories. And, in case you’re wondering, Bachelor is indeed her real last name.
