Sheila Gaspers grew up in the Baltimore-Washington metro area. First generation Irish-Italian American, she learned early on to celebrate and cherish the differences in culture, religion and geography in the world. Trips to Europe to visit extended family and summer study programs abroad fueled her inquisitive and creative mind.

With a map in hand and a Journalism degree from University of Maryland, she set out to conquer Madison Avenue - with several detours along the way. Her former hometown list mirrors that of a flight attendant - Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta and more. Through her journey, she soon discovered that all roads traveled eventually lead back to self.

Now living in sunny Florida, Sheila crosses countries and continents to connect with the people and places that inspire and reignite one's passion for living. True to her gypsy heart, Sheila reinvents herself daily and follows her dreams. Storyteller, historian, entertainer and true soul sister - this travel diva can't wait for her next gig. Did someone say "Talk Show Host" or perhaps "Cruise Director"? Sheila's successful media career spans 30 years and her published work continues to engage and enlighten readers around the world.
