Ready for a beach getaway? Let’s be honest…who isn’t? What other destination to visit than Baja California.

This ACE Camp vacation, led by Angela Ritchie, is traveling to beachy Baja California. Included in this trip is ground transportation to and from the airport, meal plans and daily activities. Over the seven night stay, visitors will be accommodated in large, spacious tents. These tents are made for relaxation with comfy beds and eclectic decor. Some participants even take their linens to the highest point of the house to sleep under the stars. Meal plans are paid for, and are healthy and delicious. They are comprised of 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, and 6 dinners. Wine is included at dinner, which is a definite plus!

Location

El Pescadero Beach House is located south of Todos Santos, about one hour away from Cabo San Lucas. It is steps from the beach on a half acre of exquisitely landscaped grounds with a variety of palm trees and a cactus garden. With the mountains are to the east and the Pacific to the west, the fertile basin where the property is located is perfect for produce and the organic farms that are sprinkled across the land.

Activities in Baja

Unlike traditional ACE Camps, there are no real workshops, so you can plan your own adventure. You have the freedom to do whatever you want, whether it’s hanging out on a hammock at the beach or painting under the palapa. Activities include a cruise from Cabo San Lucas to snorkel at Santa Maria Beach, where you can also get lunch and drinks. There are surf lessons at Cerrittos Beach (with a small extra fee), yoga at Rancho Pescadero ($10/lesson), and a shopping day in Todos Santos.

You will not regret signing up for this experience. ACE (Adventure, Culture, Education) Camps are vacations that are led by experienced explorers who teach you about different cultures in different cities. The groups are small (10 persons) so it is easy for the instructors to get to know you personally, and will serve as mentors during your journey. Mentors are friendly and lively, with intentions to give you the best experience of the trip possible. Airfare is not included, but there are various websites that will give you a great deal.

There are two set trips for Baja California, and although the first trip has already passed, the second is from October 28-November 4. Plus, if you register by June 14th, you will receive $200.00 off the entire fee! The weather is gorgeous in October, and the trip correlates with Dia de los Muertos.
