I just heard back from a friend of mine who went to the N’awlins Jazz event who told me, “Boy, did you miss out! It was FANTASTIC!” He said there was such a level of excitement and energy in the French Quarter, that it almost felt like the good ol’ pre-Katrina days.

After all his enthusiasm, I decided it’s time to go and check out the scene myself so I will be heading out for the 17th annual New Orleans Wine & Food Experience, May 20-24, 2008.
