Canada Day July 1

July 1 marks Canada Day for our neighbors to the north. Canada Day is a four-day celebration, starting June 28, commemorating Canada’s first step towards independence. This year’s celebration will mark Canada’s 145th birthday with festivals, music and of course, food. The weekend leading up to July 1 is jam packed with events throughout Whistler to help celebrate the holiday.

Whistler’s Intercultural Main Street Festival celebrates the multicultural nature of Canada. This June 28, 2013 celebration will transform Main Street into an ethically diverse showcase with culture, music, food and dance. This is a free event open to everyone! Spanning the entire weekend of June 28 to July 2 is a Canadian Carnival that is sure to get anyone in the Canadian Spirit.
