Santa Barbara Zoo offers age-appropriate Zoo Camp adventures filled with behind-the-scenes tours, up-close animal encounters, educational activities, crafts, games and fun for children ages 3-13. Nine weeks of week-long sessions run June 21-August 20.

Budding artists will be inspired by week-long Santa Barbara Museum of Art ArtVenture Camps. Campers learn a variety of art techniques, cultural history and creative problem solving and get to express themselves through drawing, painting, collage, sculpting, fiber arts, print-making, mixed media and more. All camps include a visit to the Museum, and run weekly from June 14-August 20.

Captains-in-training can develop their sea legs during Santa Barbara Sailing Center‘s weekly Sailing Camps. Sailors learn basic sailing techniques, nautical terminology, crew overboard rescue maneuvers, basic knots and rules of the water in a safe atmosphere. Luckily the boats don’t tip over! The Sailing Center also offers Kayak Camp. Runs weekly from mid-June to the end of August.
