1. What was the best decision you made in your life?
To always follow my heart and not look back.
2. What is your most memorable travel moment?
Studying at a painting and drawing workshop in Umbria, Italy.
3. What was the worst travel experience you had?
Experiencing major turbulence on a flight to Hong Kong in viciously stormy weather. I do travel a lot, but I still get a bit nervous during turbulence.
4. What have you learned about yourself through traveling?
I have learned that my true happiness comes from within. When I travel, I am away from all my worldly possessions like my shoes, cars, home, etc. and yet I don’t miss them much at all. I’ve had my most memorable and happiest moments traveling abroad both internationally and domestically while living out of a suitcase.
5. If you could choose your ultimate travel companion, living or dead,
real or imaginary, who would it be?
My best friend Jay is the best travel companion ever. He is the most laid back, yet adventurous and open minded person ever! We have been through crazy times in the French Quarter and Vegas to five star luxuries in tropical paradises and we always have the best time with no quarrelling and lots of unbelievable memories!
6. What moment in your life did you feel the most alive?
When I was at the Buddhist temples in Thailand, it was incredibly exhilarating and serene. They had just opened them to the public and I felt so grateful to be able to experience such amazing wonders in person.
7. If money and time were no object, where on earth would you go?
I would take all my close friends around the world for major fun, relaxation and excitement! We would visit the Mediterranean, Dubai, Tokyo and Shanghai for non stop fine dining, spa treatments and shopping sprees galore!
8. Who is your hero?
My Mother is my hero. She always lived life to the fullest and until her very last breath before she passed away to cancer, taught me to live each day to the fullest and follow my dreams.
9. Name a place in the world that you know a lot about and would make a
great resource for our Divas. Tell us about it.
Hawaii feels like home to me. I visit there at least four times a year to visit family and to simply get away from it all. Although I have spent time on all of the islands, Oahu is my favorite because it is a mix of the ultimate relaxed beach paradise on the North Shore and fabulous restaurants, and the best of the best in shopping in Honolulu on the other side of the island!!! It’s the only place where you will see different Chanel boutiques a few blocks from each other completely packed with shoppers!
