As a self-proclaimed cinephile, I have been proud to support local film festivals over the years. Every city has its own unique programming initiative to enlighten, engage and entertain – building a bridge for communication through film.
The mindfulness of the mission is evident at the moment the audience opens up to the story and becomes totally immersed. If you have ever watched a powerful foreign film, you understand the dynamic. The subtitle graphics are intertwined much like the music bed soundtrack. You lose yourself, unaware of the current place or time. It is truly a beautiful thing! To experience the power of film is to be forever changed.
This Festival features a special selection of over 40 films from all over the world. This year’s feature films include works from Argentina, Chile, Israel, Romania and the United States.
