tiki
I’ve been meaning to try Monday night themed dinners forever, but kept procrastinating–you know how hard it is to put the pedal to the metal on a gray Monday night. But after trying last weeks scrumptious Moroccan menu (the picture-perfect Beet Salad with Arugula, Fennel and Pistachios was so good that it turned my previous beet-hating date into a purple root-lover) I went home and immediately filled up my Monday night dance card.

And FYI: Monday night November 9th’s Tiki Bar sounds like a winner. Not only does the menu sound mouth-watering–they had me at Pu-Pu Platter, but they are also pulling out the big guns by kindly inviting award-winning tiki-drink mixologist, Martin Cate (of Forbidden Island in Alameda and his soon to open in S.F. Smuggler’s Cove) to guest bartend for the evening when he will be creating “three typically obscure and esoteric vintage tropical drinks that will be magically delicious!”
