McEvoy Ranch was established by Nan McEvoy in 1991 with 1,000 trees imported from Italy’s prime olive-producing regions. More than a decade later, the 550-acre ranch is home to 18,000 olive trees representing Tuscan varietals of Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, Maurino, Leccio del Corno, and Coratina.

The Rapanelli mill at McEvoy Ranch uses an Italian Sinolea extraction system, the only equipment of its kind in the U.S. This unique process combines traditional granite stone crushing with a revolutionary oil extraction system in which thousands of stainless steel blades penetrate the pulp and emerge with droplets of pure oil. The result is an extremely high-quality extra virgin olive oil characterized by the richness and fragrance typical of Tuscan olive oils, but with an unusually smooth and soft texture.

McEvoy Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil is available directly from the Ranch, at the McEvoy Ranch store in the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace, and at select retail locations at the suggested retail prices of $22 for 375 mL and $42 for 750 mL.
