Want to get away in May? Need to relax but you rarely really stop working? And I mean this in a mental way. Your always thinking, connecting and planning. The truth is you can do all this and take a good break.

Deepen your networking skills while really taking it easy on a cruise ship. No cleaning, no parking, no barrage of emails.

This cruise could be ideal for you Bay Area gals. May 6-11, 2016

Red eye departure on a Friday nite out of the brand spanking new SF cruise terminal. You could catch dinner at La Mar on the Embarcadero and then stroll down to the terminal for boarding.

Full day stops in Astoria, Seattle and Victoria – that must be when you are meeting winemakers or having lunch with locals you know. You will have to query Alyse on the networking aspect.

This Crystal Cruise has a solo traveler fare. You pay $300 more to not share the closet, the toilet or the bed. Think of as $60 more per day to have space all your own. Worth it?

“Meet other professionals while experiencing 5 nights of luxury at a budget price while cruising on a luxury cruise line. Included are wine, spirits, gratuities and much more. There will be special events scheduled for our group.” Alyse Cori – Travel agent

$150 shipboard credit yadda yadda.

And you fly back Wednesday. You could be back at the office by 1 pm if you really tried.

But having been to Vancouver myself several times – I suggest you make the most of the full day. Stow your luggage somewhere and head to Granville Island for brunch on the waterfront followed by wandering thru the artisan shops and studios. Rent a bike and ride along the shoreline over to Stanley Park for a lovely scenic ride around the island. The trail leads you on back to Denman street where you can find fantastic shops and a street side cafe for dinner. Time your dining to catch the stunning sunset at English Bay Beach with the locals. Now you are ready to head home on a lazy late night flight. Are there any late nite flights Alyse?
