Get those stamps and scissors ready for the trip of their lifetime (and yours too!). We researched the trend of crafting cruises out of sheer curiosity and found trips that are inspiring and connecting crafters globally. Passengers enjoy classes, workshops, speakers and DIY seminars as well as the chance connect with people who share their passion for creating.

Here are some of our favorite crafty cruise companies:

Scrapmap is a company that works exclusively to design “trips to awe and inspire your creative spirit. [They] create a setting that nurtures your creative side with sights, sounds and colors.” They offer scrapbook-themed cruises to the Caribbean, Tuscany, South America, Ireland and England.

Croptopia Getaways specializes in craft retreats and cruises. They have upcoming cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean. If you’d rather start with a weekend retreat of crafting, this is your best resource.

My favorite website (with the largest selection) is Craft Cruises. They offer cruises that are centered around knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, handspinning, beading, mixed media, and even craft cruises for kids. Also check out Crafting Cruises. Similar name but different company.
