Actually, it is cheese from Harley Goat Farm in Pescadero. A quaint town about an hour and a half south of San Francisco on highway 1. It is one of my favorite places to go on a Sunday. I always buy the chive log – it is amazing! They also have a upstairs room with hand-made wood furniture and candles that you can rent out for functions. Very cool!

Before picking up my cheese and saying “Hi” to the goats, I love having brunch at Duarte’s Tavern where I always order a spicy Bloody Mary from Larry the bar tender. The olallieberry pancakes and crab cioppino is to die for. The restaurant has been around since 1894! It is well worth a visit if you are driving from San Francisco south on highway 1.

Turn left at highway 1 at Pescadero. You will find Duarte’s on the corner on Main Street. Harley Goat Farm is just up the road about five minutes away. Just follow the signs with a girl and a goat.

Here I am with the goats at Harley.
